Doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7:30 start!
Our guest speaker this month will be Dusty Rader
Dusty Rader is a 25 year old high school English teacher in Canton, CT. He has been unknowingly preparing for his role teaching English his whole life by reading and re-reading every single Harry Potter book several times over, as well as by submerging himself in theater, poetry, and creative writing. He has many passions, including dogs, puns, books, theater, coloring, and the ultimate question that every person needs to eventually answer: Why am I here? His answer, currently, is to make life better for those around him by educating, helping, and loving them. He works hard to educate not only in his classroom but on the Field Hockey field where he coaches some of his students, in the theater, and among colleagues. He hopes his story can be motivational for the youth who, like him, have found themselves questioning their assigned identity.
